Disney California Adventure Park

We spent most of our day in “Radiator Springs”. This was a great way to finish off our trip! The kids rode their biggest coaster yet; the Icredicoaster. The fact that it had a loop that flipped them upside down was a big step for them. Elsie braved it first with Mom, although she was right at the height minimum, and then Alstan felt he was ready. They both loved it!

Disneyland

We had a day full of fun at Disneyland today. Elsie’s big moment this morning was meeting Cinderella! As Elsie walked up, Cinderella asked her if she had been to her castle at Disney World. When Elsie said yes, it sparked a conversation about how Cinderella recognized her from there and how she has gotten taller since then. It totally made Elsie’s day.

Whale Watching

Today we went out on a whale watching boat. We saw a huge pod of Common Dolphins, but no whales. It was unbelievable how big the pod of dolphins was though. There were dolphins jumping out of the water near and far.
After lunch we took the kids over to a beach so they could say they have been in the Pacific Ocean. They would have have loved to stay all day, but the rip tide was pretty strong so we didn’t want them getting too comfortable.

Route 66
First stop: Seligman, AZ

The town was not quite as done up as Williams, but still quite cool. There was a very fun burger joint that we ate at. The owner had a lot of practical jokes like putting a door knob on the wrong side of the door and a mustard container that shot out a yellow string. The kids loved it!
