Carving Pumpkins

This is a week late, but here are a couple of photos of Alstan & Elsie carving their pumpkins. Neither of them would touch the pumpkin guts. Of course Alstan made his into a dinosaur and Elsie's was a princess.

Personal Pizzas

Elsie and Alstan tried their hand at making their own pizzas. They actually did really well, aside from the fact that Elsie ate half a can of olives and put the other half on her pizza. I had to open another can, so Alstan could have some for his pizza.

Buffalo Phil's

Our last stop before leaving the Dells was Buffalo Phil's. Depending on which table you sat at you can have your food delivered on a train. Of course we had to get one of those tables. Alstan and Elsie didn't eat much, but they had fun.

Weekend in the Dells

These are a bit late, but here are a few photos from last weekend. The hotel had an indoor water park, so most of our time was spent in the water. The kids had a blast and mom and dad came home pretty tired. Can't wait to do it again!

Larvets Worm Snacks

Alstan and Elsie are much braver than their mother. Here they are trying cheddar cheese flavored inch worms. (Yes, dried and flavored real inch worms.)

Hiking at Governor Dodge State Park

Dad had caught the flu, so mom took Alstan and Elsie for a picnic and hike. It was a beautiful day to be outside.

Sad Statement About Electronics

They are not even out of their pj's and they are on the iPhone. What parents!

Homecoming Parade

Alstan and some of his pre-k friends walked their banner down the street to lead the elementary portion of the Homecoming Parade. They followed the ambulance, but once we hit the crowd of people I don't think they even noticed. You can see Elsie and dad in the background, if you look closely.

I'll Visit

Alstan was just telling me that he will come visit when he is all grown up. He will bring his two goats too!

Our Little Artist

Elsie was helping mom make Apple Party invites. Mom obviously wasn't watching close enough when Elsie started experimenting with that beautiful red stamp pad.

This was taken post clean up. It did eventually wash off in the bathtub though.

Another Wild Day at the Crazy Farm

It ended up being a beautiful day for the Busy Barns Adventure Farm. It might have been just a little early for fall activities, but you couldn't tell Alstan or Elsie that! They went strong all day.

Alstan's Race

Last weekend Alstan ran the mile Fort Fall Crawl again. We didn't get an exact time on it, but we do know that he gave it his all. It was the first time he seemed spent at the end of the race.

Elsie wanted to try mom's chai. She ended up drinking the last quarter of the glass.
