Elsie decorated her pumpkin at home the day after we went to the Crazy Farm.

Busy Barns

At the beginning of the month, we took a trip to the Busy Barns Adventure Farm (the Crazy Farm) to get pumpkins. Alstan was able to decorate his at Aunt Nette's. Elsie spent time in the emergency room with Nursemaid's Elbow:(

Muscles

Mom and Dad were taking before and after photos to keep themselves accountable with exercise (none of which will ever show up on the blog!)  After seeing us take pictures, Alstan needed to show how big and strong his muscles were too!

Horseback Riding

We were playing horsey in the living with Mom and Dad being the horses of course.  Elsie decided she wasn't done yet so she found a horse to play with.

Zoo Race

A post that has actually happened in the last week!  The first day of Alstan's school was the only other one. 

Anyway, here is a video of Alstan with his friends, Bree and Brynn.  They were in the Zoo Race in Madison.  Alstan was very excited to be a lion and was "roaring" at anyone who said he was a cute lion.  It was also the first time he got to run with only kids his age, which was nice because usually he's so young that he's left in the dust.

Elsie's Turn on the Tractor

I think she is still deciding what she thinks about this. But she definitely did not want to miss out, since Alstan got a ride.

Alstan was able to enjoy another tractor ride during out last visit to the farm. This time grandpa let him do the steering. It never gets old for Alstan!

At the beginning of the school year, some of the Zielicke girls and mom and Elsie got together for some shopping. One of Elsie's favorites is to try on glasses or hats. Super cute ladies!

Alstan Riding his Trike

Although this is from a month ago, it is fun to watch Alstan ride his tricycle. The video was taken on mom's phone, so it is not very good. It is still easy to see how proud he was.
