Box cars

Alstan saw a commercial with a little boy driving a car made from a box. So, of course, we had to make one too. Alstan chose to make his into a fire truck and Elsie chose to turn hers into an airplane.

Lost keys

Mom had to walk to school yesterday. She made the mistake of allowing Elsie to play with her keys on Wednesday. Elsie put them in the most logical place, but mom couldn't find them.

Breakfast helper

This morning I asked Alstan what he wanted for breakfast. He didn't answer, but instead filled his arms with the ingredients for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

When Alstan Grows Up

He's a little hard to understand, but listen carefully and I think you'll hear it.  The second video is easier to hear.  If not, I'll put the answer in the comments below the post.  Also, when he gets done watch him do a little bow.

He's got a little bit of showmanship right now, and he didn't get that from Mom or Dad.

Book Fair

Alstan found a dinosaur book at the book fair.  We went to Mom's room and read the whole thing!

Dad helped Alstan discover what neat creatures worms are. Now he has to pick them up if he sees one.

This was from two days ago when it was still warm. Alstan was getting a kick out of burying himself in the sand. Elsie decided it was worth a try too at the end.

Take Your Child To Work Day

Alstan came to work with Dad for Take Your Child to Work Day.  To say he had fun would be an understatement.  He stayed for the full day and loved playing at recess and just being the center of attention.  He was also lucky enough to get some ice cream as one of the students celebrated a birthday.

Getting the toy car out of storage

Recently mom and the kiddos walked down to the storage unit in hopes of finding our bike helmets. Instead the kids spotted their toy car and insisted it come home with us. We got a few looks with this one.
