Elsie and Alstan

Alstan has learned all kinds of different kisses. He started with an Eskimo kiss for Elsie and was finishing with his favorite, a monster kiss.

Brains and Brawn

Alstan is lifting weights to get strong. In this video he is pulling 8 lb. weights and also counting up to four. I guess he is going to be the complete package - brains and brawn.

Crawling

I think this started when Alstan was trying to retrieve some of his toys. Our floor isn't exactly level and things roll toward the chase easily. Here he was going round and round behind the chase.

Dancing

Alstan loves to dance, although his dancing is usually just lots and lots of jumping. Jessie's got some nice dance moves in the background too!

Grandma Zielicke

Chess

After Alstan saw Aidan playing chess he decided he'd try too. He was moving pieces from square to square just like his cousin.

Helping Out

We brought out Alstan's old jumper to see if Hunter would like it. Alstan decided to help him with his pacifier too.

Coloring

Darien and Alstan are spending some quality time coloring together. Although Alstan will still use his left hand sometimes, it sure looks like he's going to be a righty. Alstan really likes playing with Darien and will follow him all around the farm.

Aunt Tracey

Tracey is reading to Alstan and Hunter, another of Tracey's nephews. It's so nice of her to be such a good Aunt, now if we could just get her to change their diapers!

Packing

We were packing to go to Grandpa's house (he also refers to Grandpa's barn as Grandpa's house) and Alstan was showing he was ready to go!

Alstan loves to hold, kiss, and hug his baby sister. In these photos his parents were brave enough to let him hold her all by himself for like five seconds while we took pictures. You can see Alstan has developed a nice little fake smile too.
