Campfire

Here are some pictures of Alstan's first campfire from a couple of weeks ago. He didn't stay up as late as his Aunt Carrie did, but he did see the beginning of the campfire before he went to bed.

First Day at the Beach

Here's images from Alstan's first day at the beach. Aunt Carrie and Aunt Nette came along to join the fun. He was a little cautious getting in, but once he got started he seemed to like it. He didn't even cry when his head went in the water!

Relaxing

When Alstan first started doing this we thought he was making some kind of bridge to the coffee table. Then we realized that he was imitating mom and dad again. When we're on the couch we put our feet on the coffee table so he thought he should too. It's amazing how long he can hold that pose too. It's probably a minute or more!

Cool

Slap Happy

Before bedtime Alstan has a tendency to get a little slap happy. He likes to run around in circles or scream at the top of his lungs. Here you can hear him say high as he runs around acting crazy.

He's also learning new words all the time. This week he learned poop!

Chocolate Milk

Mom decided to give Alstan some chocolate milk even though she was wearing a brand new skirt. In the first image you can see the milk droplets falling toward the skirt. After 15 months with a baby though, a little chocolate milk stain is nothing! Alstan ended up with a pretty sweet chocolate milk mustache too.

Under the Table

Alstan is climbing under the table again and having a great time. When he was little and crawling he would get under there without hitting his head. As he grew he'd either bump his head or get stuck underneath and get upset. Now he has figured out how to lower his head to stay safe and thinks it's great fun under there.

Riding on Shoulders

Alstan riding on Dad's shoulders. He doesn't stay on too long yet and with him just getting over diarrhea that's probably a good thing for both of us.

Being Silly Again

Imitating Dad

Here's two pictures of Alstan imitating his Dad. The first one is Alstan walking on the treadmill with the Wii controllers. When I use the treadmill I always play Wii games to pass the time. Alstan has gotten on the treadmill and walked many times, but it was funny to see him want to use the remotes too. He also grabbed the remote and laid in the beanbag for a bit like dad.

Quack, Quack

This is Alstan's favorite video. He goes over and says quack, quack to the computer several times a day now. I added it to the left too so we can find it quickly!

Mowing

Alstan does more mowing, sweeping, and dishes than his mom and dad combined!

New Pillowcase

Here's Alstan playing with a pillow. The pillowcase is new and was designed by his Cousin Ellie. In the first picture you can see the A sewn into the corner. He's been throwing the pillow around and then laying his head on it for a few seconds then starting over.
