Camping?

We had a short camping trip planned for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It started out beautifully with a swim at the beach and a campfire Tuesday night. However, by about 10:00 yesterday morning dad called wondering if we were going to come home to wait out the storm. We knew there had been a chance of rain, but now it was changed to a 90% chance of a storm. We decided to pack it up.

The rain stopped just long enough for us to get a fire going in the pit and cook our pudgy pies.

The rest of the night was indoor games and camping on the floor.

Elsie’s Turn

So, apparently we are a bit behind with getting our kids’ eyes  checked. Elsie had her eyes examined today, and we found out she also needs glasses. She will have to wear her’s all the time though, which she seems totally fine with.

Heading Home

Looks like they’re all set for another day of travel. Alstan and Aunt Nette are watching a Star Wars movie on his iPad. Elsie is watching her own thing on Alstan’s phone.
