There was a small pod that we found with a couple of young ones. They were so playful. At points it seemed as though they were putting on a show for us!
The kids were excited to be able to swim in the ocean and play in an outdoor pool on Christmas Eve... things we definitely would not have been able to do at home.
They opened a few of their gifts from grandma and grandpa tonight.
Tonight we celebrated our Christmas Eve. After driving around checking out Christmas lights and getting lost, we came home and opened our first gifts. The kids have made it their tradition to open their gifts from each other on Christmas Eve.
Our day was filled with a gamut of activities. We went from holiday baking to walks outside in 40 degree weather to ice skating and finally a Christmas movie! So much fun!
It was Grinch Day at school today, so we figured this hairstyle would do for a little Elsie Who.
We ended the day by adding the candy to our gingerbread train. We have spent our evenings this whole week to get the pieces together. Now it is time for the decorating!
To help celebrate mom’s birthday and the holiday season we went to a dinner theatre show in Wisconsin Dells. Although the drive was a bit long, the kids really enjoyed the show and the experience.
Alstan and Elsie were so excited to help babysit their little cousin on Saturday. They were just as excited to have their aunt and uncle babysit them on Sunday, because it meant one more day of Adalynn!
