Zoo Day

We are so lucky to have a free zoo within a forty-five minute drive. We enjoyed the beautiful weather last weekend by visiting the Henry Villas Zoo.

First Soccer Game of the Season

Elsie's first soccer game! It seemed that a full hour long game may have been a bit much for her. She said she had fun though, and is looking forward to her next game!

Alstan gave it a try at goalie. He said he really liked it but might need to practice more.

Meeting Paislyn

Brittany and Megann stopped by tonight to give us a chance to meet beautiful little Paislyn! The kids totally loved seeing and holding the baby. Thanks!

Labor Day Weekend Thresheree

We had fun spending time with family at the Rock River Thresheree this past weekend. Alstan and Elsie were very excited to be able to get horse rides. Now they are trying to convince us that they need horse riding lessons.

First Day of School

Dad had off today, so he was able to experience Elsie's first day of kindergarten and Alstan's first day of 2nd grade.

Our day started with the first day of the new school year...

and ended with the first day of soccer practice for the season! Needless to say, both children fell asleep very quickly tonight.
