Train in Fennimore

On our way out to Zach's graduation, we stopped in Fennimore for dinner. When we were finished eating we walked over to the train museum.

Vacuuming

Here is Elsie trying to keep the house clean.  The second picture is the cutest as you can see the vacuum is on and blowing her hair in the air.  Elsie loves to help by sweeping, picking up toys, and throwing things in the garbage.

Gone Fishin'

Alstan and Elsie got to go on their fishing adventure.  On the way back from Zach's graduation Uncle Mike took us to a fishing spot on the Mississippi River.  They caught one sunfish, which Alstan got to help real in.  He touched the fish and the worms.  After initially being very excited and jumpy, he really settled in and was very patient even though we didn't catch any more fish.

Friends

Alstan found a caterpillar on the trail. He wanted to take his friend home. Mom and dad convinced him that we didn't have caterpillar food at home, and maybe the caterpillar would like to stay by his family.

A Day at the Park with Aunt Nette

Kayaking

Over Memorial Day we went to Grandpa and Grandma Zielicke's. While everyone else took out the canoes for a trip down the river, Alstan did his own kayaking in the back yard.

Mickey pancakes

Alstan loves to have his pancakes as Mickey Mouse. To help with his drawing and coloring skills, we now give him food writers to complete his Mickey with details.

Family Bike ride

Recently we all went for a bike ride on the trail in Dodgeville. Mom and dad were able to bike for about 45min. and then we biked to Subway for lunch.
